For Patients & Responsible Parties

Full Psychiatric Evaluation

Each Consultant provides a thorough and comprehensive psychiatric evaluation of present, and past, symptoms and treatment. This will include obtaining a detailed history of relevant and vital aspects of the individual’s life which may have influenced his or her mental, emotional, or behavioral health. This assessment will allow Peace of Mind Consultants to gain the most accurate understanding of the individual’s condition while working with the individual to create a meaningful plan of care.

Medication Management

All Peace of Mind Consultants align with the philosophy that, if medications are appropriate, every effort will be made to ensure that the patient will be managed and monitored on the least amount of medications possible at the lowest doses deemed effective. Medication decisions are made based on experienced clinical judgment, the current body of research, evidence-based practice, and collaborative patient feedback while making considerable effort to limit side effects and cost to patients.

Brief Therapeutic Intervention

We believe each interaction with our patients is an opportunity for healing. In addition to any treatment interventions discussed, we seek to provide specific, meaningful, and practical solutions towards recovery and resilience as a standard with every patient encounter.

Extensive Individual Therapy

Peace of Mind Consultants partners with Sentience Psychological Services, PLLC, a premier mobile counseling agency in the Valley, to provide traditional, individual, and group therapy support on site to long term care residents. Contact us for more information.

Interdisciplinary Team Approach

We at Peace of Mind Consultants believe in a collaborative team approach towards providing excellent holistic treatment. As a standard, we seek collateral observations and feedback from the facility medical team and direct care staff in gaining a thorough assessment of the patient’s psychiatric needs. We believe this approach gives us the best understanding of each patient’s unique condition while affording us the greatest potential for implementing successful interventions.
